I work at the intersection of meteorology, data, and human decisions. My day job is operational: the forecast has to be accurate, timely, and understandable when conditions change fast.

My research pushes that further — right now it's a sea surface currents model at the Sunda Strait, trained so a warning arrives before the hazard does.

I'm a BMKG Meteorologist and STMKG graduate. My day job is operational marine forecasting. Currently in progress: research on a sea surface currents model at the Sunda Strait — where the Java Sea meets the Indian Ocean, and a forecast has to be right before the ferry leaves.
